This significant event, attended by key figures in the energy sector, marked a major step in Indonesia’s transition to sustainable and inclusive energy.
The launch was officiated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) in collaboration with AFD, emphasizing their commitment to supporting Indonesia’s green energy transition. A key highlight of the event was the signing of a partnership agreement between PT PLN (Persero) and AFD, titled “Joint Initiative of Energy Transition Cooperation in Indonesia.”
The event was attended by prominent figures, including Dadan Kusdiana, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM); Fabien Penone, French Ambassador to Indonesia, Timor Leste, and ASEAN; Diana Acconcia, Director of International Affairs and Climate Finance at the European Commission (CLIMA); and Yann Martres, Country Director of AFD. Their presence underscored the strong collaboration between Indonesia, France, and the European Union in advancing energy sustainability initiatives.
