Forum Inspirasi Sulawesi Selatan is an event that Global Virtual Events organized for a KOMPAK (Kolaborasi Masyarakat dan Pelayanan untuk Kesejahteraan) facility funded by the Australian Government to support the Government of Indonesia in achieving its targets of reducing poverty levels and addressing inequality. The Hybrid event was held in the city of Makassar on November 11, 2021, at the Claro Hotel Makassar and was attended by 10 of our people who flew to Makassar. During the event, our team carried out most arrangements at the events location, including rapid antigen tests, installing exhibition booth stands, a traditional stage along with a LED stage, and backwall that formed a Phinisi ship.
Preparation for this event encompassed routine meetings, beginning with discussions on the basic concepts of a hybrid event, confirming the number of participants and also organizing permits and the needs of the Task Force team because the event was held during the Covid-19 pandemic. GVE didn’t only prepare for the hybrid event, but we also built a 3D virtual exhibition website. Participants could, in their own time, learn more about the project and the site could be used by participants who wanted to attend the event online. The 3D website served as an interactive Virtual Exhibition even after the event. On the event day, the event could be accessed online via Zoom Apps and also livestreamed on YouTube.
